Each day the library is used for library sign out, working with the Teacher Librarian and special project work.

Our gymnasium has a wood floor, a large stage area and storage room. We have worked hard to create dynamic PE activities for students and our equipment room is well supplied with a variety of interactive materials.

Each class has a set of iPads with a 1 to 1 ratio.  iPads are a tactile tool to support essential skill areas, such as: communication, media literacy, creativity and self-directed learning.  Staff have found this tool highly beneficial for students education as well as the student empowerment it inspires. With Ipads the students have the world at their fingertips – anywhere they might be!

School Curriculum

The Ministry of Education sets curriculum policy and defines what teachers are required to teach and students are expected to learn in each grade and subject. A consistent, province-wide curriculum is thereby ensured. However, teaching and assessment strategies are left to the professional judgment of teachers, enabling them to address individual student needs and deliver the curriculum in a context that is locally meaningful.
